See www.trimaran-naga.com and their blog for full text and photos of Jack and Chrissi's sailing adventures aboard high-performance 38' Newick trimaran NAGA.

Built by Bill Cooper and launched in 1980 in Woods Hole, MA, Naga is built in a system of cold molded wood and epoxy (aka WEST System), consisting largely of western red cedar, ash, and mahogany.

Jack Petith raced her a lot in the early and mid-80's, winning just about any Caribbean race that would allow multihulls, and then breaking the Newport to Bermuda multihull record by 22 hours in 1981. He took class wins in two singlehanded transatlantic races: the 1982 Route du Rhum (sailing as Kriter X) from France to the Caribbean, and the 1984 OSTAR (as Destination St. Croix) from Plymouth England to Newport in the USA.
